CASA GRANDE, ARIZ.- As the year comes to a close the Real Salt Lake- Arizona Elite sides prepare for the 2016 Arizona State Cup and possibly one more trophy, meanwhile the Academy sides head back to California.
RSL-AZ Elite U-16 and U-18 are coming off a perfect 6-0 combined weekend against tough opponents at the West Coast College Showcase in Irvine California. Now, they the two teams will join RSL-AZ U-15 in the Arizona State Cup in an effort to take home one more title.
Games start Friday, April 22nd and are played every weekend through May 8th. RSL-AZ Elite U15 and U-16 will open up gameplay at the Reach 11 Sports Complex with 8 p.m. games against Sereno Boys White and Legacy Red respectively.
RSL-AZ Elite U-18 will have their first game at the Tucson Kino on Saturday at 12:45 p.m.
On the Academy side, RSL-AZ U-18 and U-16 are heading out to southern California for back to back games against formidable rivals. The two sides will face Pateadores at Santa Ana College on Saturday at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. respectively, and Strikers FC on Sunday at the same time and location.
