With an incredible four decades at the helm of one of the world’s most prestigious independent real estate brokerages, Michael Saunders is a woman with every reason to look back with a sense of fulfillment. Yet it is her remarkable ability to focus on the future, transforming its possibilities into opportunities, that defines her. Established in 1976 and headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, Michael Saunders & Company is internationally renowned for representing the finest properties on the Gulf Coast, and today is comprised of more than 600 sales associates, 145 staff members and 24 offices from Bradenton to Boca Grande. With great success comes added social responsibility, and Michael has maintained a deep and longstanding commitment toward enriching the community. To this day, her philanthropic efforts largely involve underwriting programs that protect, educate or otherwise enhance the quality of life for children and young adults. Extending these efforts to Grande Sports World brings immeasurable joy to Michael, who has made it her life’s work to make a difference.
Founder and CEO
Ronald Burks is a private real estate investor who has spent the past fifty years overseeing some of the largest and most significant property developments in the United States – including extensive work at executive level in New England, New York, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico. Ronald graduated with Honors in Economics from Stanford University and received his Masters Degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. He is the President of the Grande Sports World Foundation, the co-founder and CEO of Grande Sports World, and one of the two owners of the Francisco Grande Hotel & Golf Resort located in Casa Grande, Arizona. While investing in property has resulted in great professional success, it is his investment in the lives of others that has so enriched Ronald’s life. Through Grande Sports World he is committed to making a difference in the lives of young athletes, helping them to obtain college scholarships, excel athletically and ultimately realize their full potential.
